14 banjo neck blanks in walnut, maple, and cherry just arrived from the sawyer. They're all from salvaged trees, either blown down by storms or taken from construction lots, and most are cut close to the quarter, with wonderful, straight grain.

Hi,
I just started to build gourd banjos and I was wondering where you get your wood from? It is all the right size without having to glue multiple pieces which is super convenient. So far I have been going to a local shop and hodgepodging different pieces based on the size that i need.
Thanks for the help,
Jonathan
